Autor und seine französische Übersetzerin sprechen über ihre Zusammenarbeit und über die Herausforderungen und Chancen der Übertragung literarischer Texte in eine andere Sprache.
Klaus Merz hat über 30 Bücher mit Lyrik und Prosa veröffentlicht und wurde vielfach ausgezeichnet u.a. mit dem Schweizer Grand Prix Literatur 2024.
Das Gespräch wird moderiert von Hans Ulrich Glarner und Lucas Marco Gisi.

Klaus Merz lebt als freier Schriftsteller in Unterkulm. Er debütierte 1967 mit Gedichten, sein literarischer Durchbruch war 1997 der Roman «Jakob schläft». Er hat über 30 Bücher veröffentlicht, zuletzt «Noch Licht im Haus» (2023). Seit 2011 erscheint im Haymon Verlag eine Werkausgabe. Sein Werk wurde u.a. mit dem Friedrich-Hölderlin-Preis 2012 und dem Schweizer Grand Prix Literatur 2024 ausgezeichnet.
Marion Graf ist Literaturübersetzerin, Literaturkritikerin und Redaktorin. Sie hat Werke von Robert Walser, Erika Burkart und Zsuzsanna Gahse übersetzt. Von Klaus Merz sind die Bände «Frère Jacques» (1998), «Déplacement/Kurze Durchsage» (2002), «Hart am Wind/Tout prés du vent» (2018) erschienen. Sie wurde u.a. 2020 mit dem Spezialpreis Übersetzung des BAK ausgezeichnet.
