Hi, I’m Alex. I’ve been in chess for a while and started learning chess as a teenager from the legendary Soviet masters in Saint Petersburg. I’ve been teaching chess for a decade now: online and offline in public and private schools across the UK, Montenegro and Russia. My students now are champions and prize winners of numerous tournaments in the USA, UK, Europe, Israel, New Zealand and Australia. An active player myself, in 2022 I became a national team champion in the UK. Whether you’re a beginner not knowing where to start or a skilled player who wants to improve effectively, I’ll be glad to help you. Onsite classes in Basel and Zurich or online are possible.
