The world was divided into two categories for me as a child: «vanilla people» and «chocolate people.» Back then, I proudly belonged to the vanilla category. I loved the smell of vanilla, but I loved it even more in the form of pudding. As I was researching my January gig list, I found myself ruminating on the number of courses a certain venue runs. «Which venue?» I hear you cry. I am talking, of course, about Dynamo, which offers an enormous variety of courses.
A quick glance at their website shows courses in music production, capoeira, yoga, and a super useful course in ski/snowboard maintenance. Normally, I would write these courses up as weekly tips, but they do get booked up in advance, so it’s worth looking a few weeks ahead.

For years, the club Zukunft has been central to the Zurich party scene. I’ve mentioned the club on countless occasions in the newsletter and have staggered out more times than I care to remember. But the future of Zukunft is not looking bright – in fact, they will be closing their doors for the last time on the 23rd of March. If you haven’t visited the club yet, you have only a few months left to do so. And, of course, they’re not going out with a whimper.
