There’s lot’s to eat in Zurich this week with both the Food Zurich and Street Food Festivals. And we have English hip hop act, The Streets paying a visit. Finally, and probably most importantly, this Saturday is an opportunity to protest for women’s rights in Switzerland.

There’s a treat in store for foodies over the next few weeks, as today marks the start of the 10th edition of Food Zurich. Just looking at the programme has my mouth watering. With tastings, classes, and workshops running until 22nd June, there’s something for everyone — whether you want to hone your cooking skills or simply sample something delicious. Beer and Chocolate pairing sounds particularly intriguing.

I’m ashamed to say I missed this from my gig list, but I’m making amends now. Get ready for a riveting evening on Tuesday as British hip-hop legend Mike Skinner brings The Streets to X-Tra. I must admit, I have a pretty big soft spot for The Streets. Who can forget «Fit But You Know It» or the wonderfully uplifting chorus of «Heaven for the Weather»?

It seems like there's a film being shown outdoors almost every evening somewhere and to make sure you don't miss anything, I've compiled a list of all the open-air cinemas for you. Now it's up to you to get your tickets in time. Among this years offerings are a few perennial favourites but also a few newer offerings. I’m already looking forward to packing my picnic and watching a film, enveloped in the warm darkness of a summer night. It's going to be great!
