On balmy summer evenings, the Unterer Letten riverside transforms into an open-air cinema overlooking the Limmat. The Flussssbar serves drinks and snacks including tortilla chips, hot dogs, grilled sausages and vegetarian options. Programme TBA

Allianz Cinema Zurich
The city’s largest open-air cinema combines lakeside views with an extensive food and drink offering. Rain ponchos are provided should the weather turn. Programme released on 15 June.

Xenix Open-Air Cinema
In the heart of the city, Kino Xenix presents a carefully curated selection of film classics on Helvetiaplatz, where Zurich’s famous flea market usually takes place. In case of bad weather, screenings move indoors.

Cinéma Solaire
A mobile, solar-powered indie open-air cinema touring Zurich, Winterthur, Basel and Bern. As all equipment is transported by bicycle, visitors need to bring their own seating. Admission is pay-what-you-can.
