Aussergewöhnliche Bauten in Büchern
Weltwunder sind seit antiker Zeit populär. Prägend bei ihrer Visualisierung war Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts Johann Bernhard Fischer. Aus seinem Buch der 'Historischen Architektur' entstand eine ganze Bilderflut, die bis ins Schulbuch hineinfand, obwohl Fischers Abbildungen «fast ganz aus der Einbildung» entstanden waren. Bei der Public Tour in der Bibliothek Werner Oechslin in Einsiedeln unternehmen Sie mit historischen Büchern eine faszinierende Zeitreise zu den Weltwundern.
