Give my love to the city.

Aside from my Birthday party, what a week i’ve got for you. When it rains, it pours! There’s music of course, with the Swiss singer/songwriter Seven celebrating twenty years of singing and songwriting. There’s a late night at the museum if you need some relaxed vibes in the evening, and an outdoor bar/restaurant opening. If you need some chuckles (who doesn’t), this weekend is full of comedy too.

In case you didn't get the subtle message in the intro it’s my Birthday party this weekend and i am already feeling super excited. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all at Kraftwerk this Saturday. But what have i got in store for you?

Well, we have live music from SOIRSOIR as well as five DJ’s who will be spinning for you.

And if all that dancing makes you hungry? I have some amazing pizza from Napulé and momos and gyozas from Roots of Himalaya.

On top of all that i am really fascinated to see the visual art of Hannah Gottschalk who i talked to in last week's newsletter.

Finally i am giving away some special drinks, pizza, momos and free tickets but the competition is only open until midday today, (27th April,) so don't delay!

Music is life. Music is Zurich, especially as the weather warms up and we're lured out of our winter hibernation. So, for the month of May, i've put together a gig list with more or less every type of music for you. Enjoy!

Do you also have someone in your circle of friends who answers every question with «there's an app for that!» I normally download it enthusiastically and then delete it, unused, six months later.Not so with the official hiking app from Schweizer Wanderwege. Whether you want to take a whole weekend up in the mountains or just fancy an afternoon walk out of the city the app, which is of course for Apple and Android, has inspiration and suggestions.
