Zurich (EN) : Zurich 23.11.2023: Björk, Backslash & Fondue

Good Morning Ronster

Well, i can honestly say that that short lived autumn is at an end. I can barely feel my figures typing this. Am i being dramatic? A bit. But to help with the mind numbing coldness that has graced our city, i've added a list of fondue places to visit this winter season. And for those of you reading this who celebrate Thanksgiving, happy Turkey Day!

I've also got some tickets to give away and a bunch of local art. So grab a glühwein, stay warm and as always,

Give my love to the city.

Festival: Backslash is back and...er...slashing?

Why should a festival stick to music only? The Backslash festival returns to Gessnerallee this weekend with 20 artists from Switzerland and abroad creating artistic «moments» across three rooms. Performance, experimental music and visual art make up Friday’s programme with a more introspective aesthetic for Saturday’s programme.

Eating: My Ten Fondue Favourites

As the temperature drops the desire for Switzerland’s special, liquid gold increases. There’s nothing like the velvety texture and warming feeling of a good fondue and, when it’s with good friends and snow outside the window, (fingers crossed,) there’s nothing better. But where to go? At enormous expense to my finances and heath, (i think there is more cheese than blood now,) i’ve found the best, cosiest and most romantic fondue restaurants, just for you. ♥
