Remember how January lasted for approximately 54 days? Well, we're already in the middle of February. So how 'bout them apples.

Anyhoo, i've got a great week lined up for you, as well as some lists to check out. For all you brunchers, i've put together quite the list of places around the city (also with some vegan and vegetarian options) and for you record heads, (Vinyl, not historical,) check out where you can still get some! Or combine them and make a day of it! After some bottomless mimosas, you'll need some new tunes.

As i listen to the newest album from The Longest Johns titled «Voyage», i can't help but want to jump on the nearest table and do my best to dance a jig. My foot won't stop tapping. For fans of Flogging Molly and those sea shanties we were all singing a few years ago, this is the band for you. The band from Bristol is a foot stomping-beer- slamming good time. Excuse me while i go join a pirate crew and take to the high seas at Mascotte.

There are loads of great reasons NOT to listen to vinyl! But let’s face it, the analog sound, the feel of the records in your hands and the love and care that you have to lavish on them makes you appreciate the music all the more. And there is also the staff who can inspire you with their knowledge and recommendations. Whatever the reasons, here’s a selection of some of my favourite record stores which i will be adding to on an continual basis.
