What a Rooftop Day; the rain couldn’t stop us, the disappointment of the football, (unless you’re English or Spanish of course,) couldn’t dampen our spirits and we celebrated, cheered, helped, trained, danced, grilled and sang on the rooftops and courtyards of the city.

Schools out! Well, tomorrow at least and whilst a serene calm descends over the city as the Zurich folk, (and their beloved children,) make a break for the border many of the clubs, bars and venues have a little break, if they haven’t started already! But don’t worry, there is still a few things going on in town. And with so many people skipping town, it’s a great time to visit a restaurant and reserve that table with the spectacular view.

What would a Zurich weekend be without some kind of festival? This week Europaallee are holding their celebration with all the usual paraphernalia that accompanies such affairs. Music, grub and, with Bierwerk right in the thick of it, some great beer.
