My tip is to check out the Haggis Horns who will be playing in Stall 6 after the main concerts. It’s a great hang and the band are super funky.

I don’t know about you Ronsters but as the snow starts to settle on the alps my mind turns to hitting the slopes. And what better way to get in the mood than by checking out a snowboarding film. Nitro snowboards are premiering their new film, « Offline,» at the Arthouse Movie theatre. 14 years ago Zukunft opened it’s doors for the first time and it has been 14 years of getting home in the not so wee hours, legs aching from dancing all night and facing a big hangover late into Sunday. As you can imagine, Zuki are going to be having a massive celebration on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, lasting until early Sunday morning. Celebrate the birthday of a Zurich institution.

On Sunday GZ Buchegg are hosting their «Repair Cafe,» with repair experts giving you an opportunity to try to fix broken appliances or damaged clothes. It’s good for the environment, (but perhaps more importantly for a lot of people,) good for the wallet.

If the snowboarding film got you in the mood to hit the slopes again or you are just desperate to give skiing/snowboarding a try then one thing is true. You are going to need so equipment. Starting on Monday, the Skibörse opens its doors, offering new and used equipment and reasonably priced clothing. Get shopping.

You may have noticed young urchins, banging on your door and demanding treats in return for not egging your house/car or leaving flaming bags of dog doo on your door step. Ain’t halloween grand? I tried answering the door to these children in the nude but attracted quite a few «trick or treaters,» in police uniforms. But seriously, what is the solution to all these Halloween disturbances?
