Hey Ronster! Wasn’t last weekend the perfect start to the Christmas season? Fresh snow, blue skies, (at least on Sunday,) and the «Glühwein» flowed. I don’t think we are in for quite as much of treat this weekend but it was still super nice. Talking of the weekend we also have the very important «Fahrplanwechsel» which comes into effect on Sunday. It’s a new month and we have a new comic illustrator joining us. This month it is the incredibly talented Alma S. Gobbi aka Almadillo. It is not often that an illustration can make me laugh out loud but the thought of a relationship between a balloon and a cactus can do that. I was allowed to ask the artist about her wonderful imagination and her life - you can read the interview and check out a few of her illustrations here.

Alright, i know i've gone on and on about Christmas shopping, but it's also good to remember that the season of giving is not just about shopping, wrapping and gift exchanging. It's also a time to be thankful for what you have, and what you can give. In cooperation with Father Sieber, who is known for his charity work for the homeless, there is a Crowdify account taking donations to help raise money for groceries items. Their goal is too be able to feed at least 34 homeless people one warm meal a day for as long as they can. All proceeds go directly to this.
