Some of the most soulful music of the past 20 years has come from New York’s Daptone Records. Lee Fields, Charles Bradley, Sharon Jones all recorded with the label and created such an impression that master producer Mark Ronson took Amy Winehouse to record her magnum opus, «Back To Black» in the Daptone studio in Brooklyn. Some tough acts to follow but Thee Sacred Souls are taking up the mantle with some of the sweetest soul music you ever heard.
