When one door closes, another opens. Or a window opens. Something opens. As we say goodbye to summer, we welcome Autumn and with it, moules frites season. There's a bike demo this week, as well as some comedy, secondhand shopping and film. It's gonna be a good week.

Wednesday: Ron Voyage at...?

Well Ronsters, it’s the last Wednesday of the month next week and you know what that means: that’s right! Ron Voyage is happening. Once a month, i invite you to be surprised with a secret concert. Whether it’s an art gallery, a rooftop or a private living room, i try to pick new and exciting venues every time. To build up a sense of mystique and excitement, you won’t find out where it is until the day before. And you only know who’s playing the moment they walk onstage.

To create an intimate atmosphere (because what is more exciting than intimate and exclusive?) i limit the number of attendees to 50 so get your tickets quick!

Note: Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 8:30pm. And while i don't want to sound like your grandparents expecting you for dinner, i do ask that you arrive on time!

Have you heard of Slow Up? The concept is pretty simple. Take a nice street in some beautiful surroundings, close it to traffic and allow people to cycle or inline skate (or whatever), undisturbed by motor vehicles. Sounds good? This weekend the gold coast, (that’s the north coast,) of the lake provides the 42km route with some great places to stop and eat/drink. (Be aware that if you live in the Seefeld area of the city there may well be some traffic disruption.)

But it’s not just Zurich that is taking part. If you fancy a weekend excursion there are several other locations that are «slowing up» over the course of the next yearn with routes available in the very useful «Switzerland Mobility» app that is available for iOS and Android. There are some really beautiful routes coming up so bookmark their page and get those dates in the diary.
