Happy Easter Ronster

Okay, i know i’m a day early but i’m just so excited about the long weekend. As we don’t have to go to work tomorrow or on Monday Thursday and Sunday are the new Friday and Saturday. (Does this make sense?) The long and short of it is that i have come up with a list of some of my favourite parties. Or maybe you’d prefer a more relaxing weekend? I have a list of some of my haunts for a relaxing brunch. And don’t forget to read all about our new comic illustrator. Have a fantastic long weekend and….

Concert: Getting Loopy...and Dirty

They rose to prominence on social media with a plethora of re-imagined classic tunes. But now you can see them perform live without having to listen through substandard laptop speakers. I am talking of course about Swedish funk/soul/fusion trio Dirty Loops. The band are hitting the Kaufleuten on Tuesday if you want to see them in analogue.

Comic In April: Iris Weidmann

In recent months my newsletter has been graced with the illustrations of international artists. But in April we are moving closer to home…actually right at home as Swiss and Zurich based artist Iris Weidmann is providing the pictures. This of course made it way easier for me to catch up with her and ask about her career, her style and her favourite things.

Eating: Brunch Hits the Spot

Easter weekend is coming up, and it’s a long one so we all know what that means: Brunch. I’ve put together a list of brunch places in the city that are open on weekends. So take the family, or escape the family, and sit down with your favourite sweet and savoury dishes.
