THE BEST PLAN IS NO PLAN
Shout it out like a bird set free – SiaWhen we’re young, society teaches us to map out the footprints of our life from A to Z, and as it goes: finish your education, get that college degree, fight for that job, grab that promotion, find your better half, make little mini-me’s, mortgage and buy that dream house, how’s your pension looking like? Soon you fast-forward 50 years and look back into your settled comfort zone. The list is exhaustive and it goes on, is this what we’re all about?LOSE YOURSELFIf there is anything I’ve understood up to this point is that sometimes (and the keyword here is sometimes), the best plan is simply to have no plan. Walking along the cobbled streets, open parks of the Arc the Triumph and narrow corners of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona reminded me of this. By losing myself with my newfound love, a mirror-less Olympus OM-D E-M10 with absolutely no directional plan, I opened my eyes to the mystery of this enchanting city.IT’S IN THE DETAILSYou begin to notice the elements and the compositions that come together to create the beauty and vibrance of each step, like the 16 year old street performer turning tricks with his traditional yo-yo, or the toddler whose innocent laughter are caught between gigantic floats of bubbles, African tambourines playing exotic beats, the monumental architectures that graces the last 500 years of history, the play of shadows along the rows of balconies in El Born or the charm of a Spanish smile. And life can a little like that. You walk the journey yet never really taking notice of the details because we are too busy making plans. Too busy focusing on these goals. This doesn’t mean you cannot have dreams or end goals, but when we allow ourselves to wander aimlessly at times, we open ourselves to embracing the excitement of the unknown and somehow we start to see things a little differently.DON’T SETTLESo never settle for a map and expect to walk a straight path. Maybe try turning right or left. Why not look up for a change? You never know what lies ahead. The best tapas to grace this world may be just a few steps veered off course. And when you finally arrive at your final destination sipping on that well deserved “media” glass of Sangria, you’ll realize that the end goal was only half of the fun.Take a walk with me on [email protected]

LOSE YOURSELF
If there is anything I’ve understood up to this point is that sometimes (and the keyword here is sometimes ), the best plan is simply to have no plan. Walking along the cobbled streets, open parks of the Arc the Triumph and narrow corners of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona reminded me of this. By losing myself with my newfound love, a mirror-less Olympus OM-D E-M10 with absolutely no directional plan, I opened my eyes to the mystery of this enchanting city.
IT’S IN THE DETAILS
You begin to notice the elements and the compositions that come together to create the beauty and vibrance of each step, like the 16 year old street performer turning tricks with his traditional yo-yo, or the toddler whose innocent laughter are caught between gigantic floats of bubbles, African tambourines playing exotic beats, the monumental architectures that graces the last 500 years of history, the play of shadows along the rows of balconies in El Born or the charm of a Spanish smile.
And life can a little like that. You walk the journey yet never really taking notice of the details because we are too busy making plans. Too busy focusing on these goals. This doesn’t mean you cannot have dreams or end goals, but when we allow ourselves to wander aimlessly at times, we open ourselves to embracing the excitement of the unknown and somehow we start to see things a little differently.
DON’T SETTLE
So never settle for a map and expect to walk a straight path. Maybe try turning right or left. Why not look up for a change? You never know what lies ahead. The best tapas to grace this world may be just a few steps veered off course. And when you finally arrive at your final destination sipping on that well deserved “ media ” glass of Sangria, you’ll realize that the end goal was only half of the fun.
