The Thing: Remastered is gearing up for its launch on Thursday, December 5. This remastered version of the 2002 video game, inspired by John Carpenter’s iconic sci-fi horror movie The Thing, is bringing the classic survival-horror title to modern platforms. Given the game's success, there has been a strong demand for a remaster to make it accessible to a new generation of players. Nightdive Studios has taken on the task, promising to release The Thing: Remastered before the year's end. While an official release date hadn’t been confirmed, recent reports suggest that the game will arrive on December 5, as revealed by a post from Xbox outlining upcoming games. The post confirms that the remaster will be optimized for Xbox Series X/S consoles and will support Smart Delivery, although the date could still change.
