As Sunday is Frauenstreik feminism takes centre stage. We have a great festival from the FLINTA community starting today and, of course, the big demo on Sunday. There's also a day dance, a local festival and I have some tickets to give away.

Switzerland’s record on women’s rights leaves plenty of room for improvement, so if you can, consider showing your support at the Frauenstreik this Sunday. The day’s events are centred around Kasernenareal, Ni Una Menos Platz (which appears as Helvetiaplatz on the map,) and Kanzleiareal, with a programme featuring concerts, workshops and childcare for those who need it. The main demonstration begins at 5pm at Ni Una Menos Platz before making its way to Paradeplatz and returning via Bahnhofstrasse, Löwenplatz and Langstrasse. If you're travelling around the city on Sunday afternoon and evening, expect some disruption to public transport along the route.

What can i say about Keb’ Mo’? Well, he has two apostrophe’s in his name, which exactly three less than the number of Grammy’s he has won. Not bad, eh? If you like your blues authentic, down home and drenched with soul then he’s making the trip from his native Nashville to visit us lucky folks in Zurich, at the Kaufleuten on Tuesday to be precise. And the good luck doesn’t end there. I have a pair of tickets to give away to a lucky Ronster.
