Well, i was under the impression colonialism in Africa is over but if france is still getting that amount from its ex-colonies then colonialism is still active and would understand why these guys are almost french but not french.

Did you know that france still get taxes from their ex-colonies about 400 billions..?

Has something to do with french history... colonialism and so...

And so since manymany years it's for french people "courrant normal"that "its own people" are sometimes a little bit more white and some are a little bit more black...
And finally: In a footballmacht (as you seem to be a newbie to this matter) you always (ALWAYS!!!) favor the best players - no matter what color of skin they have, or if some stupid haters don't want to accept them as "our own people"... (we have the same discussion here in Switzerland about players with parents from Albania)
